The total price for a folk high school stay depends on the length of the stay as well as any optional extras and travel costs. The mandatory base price consists of a registration fee, a subject account, and a weekly fee.
Price
Registration fee: 2.000 DKK Your registration is only binding once the registration fee has been paid. If you live outside the EU, the full amount must be paid before your registration is binding.
Subject account: 1.700 DKK for 12 to 14 weeks 2.700 DKK for 19 to 25 weeks 3.700 DKK for 36 to 44 weeks Covers clothing package, folk high school songbook, events, materials, and more.
Weekly fee: 1.845 DKK per week After 25 weeks, the weekly fee is reduced by 350 DKK per week.
The above prices apply for the 2026/2027 school year.

Cancellation of stay
If a stay is ended prematurely, we reserve the right to charge a fee of 7.380 DKK (applies both in case of voluntary termination and dismissal).
If you cancel before the start of the stay, you will receive a refund of the amount paid, except for the registration fee of 2.000 DKK.
